Aminata
Aminata has been waiting 849 days for a sponsor.
Aminata and her family live in a single-room zinc house in the Jumbo Stone Bathurst Village community, where access to clean water is a daily challenge. In addition, there is no access to electricity for the residents of the Jumbo Stone community, thereby making it very difficult for school-going kids like Aminata to study at night.
The primary occupation for residents of the Jumbo Stone community is vegetable gardening and stone mining. However, because Aminata's father is a retired military officer and Aminata's mother is an ailing housewife, her family depends only on her father's monthly pension to survive.
Aminata would like to be a lawyer when she grows up to make a difference in her community.
Your sponsorship commitment will help keep Aminata in school and help achieve her dreams.

We empower lives by providing school supplies, scholarships, mosquito nets, solar lights, computer/vocational training, etc. We also provide microfinance loans and disaster relief. This helps them become self-sufficient and rise above poverty.
