Sallay
Sallay has been waiting 742 days for a sponsor.
Sallay has two sisters and three brothers. She lives in a mud house with a zinc roof with her mother, father, and siblings. Sallay’s mother is a housewife and her father is a poor farmer.
Sallay is growing up in the Kamawornie village of Karena District in northern Sierra Leone. Communities are separated by many miles, streams, and rough roads. This isolation means people who live here often don’t get access to social services, like good healthcare or financial services. They also have no access to electricity or tap water for residents of the Kamawornie village. Villagers most often fetch water from the nearby river, streams, and swamps.
Sallay is attending the Evangelical Junior Secondary School and her favorite subjects in school are English & Social Studies. She also loves to read and explore the knowledge books have to offer. Sallay's desire is to become a teacher in the future. She loves to teach and pass on knowledge to others.
Your sponsorship commitment will help keep her in school and help her achieve her dreams
