Aster Zeleke
Aster Zeleke has been waiting 1597 days for a sponsor.
Dear Sponsor,
“I am 20 and my name is Aster. I love living at New Hope. My life is so much better here because I get educational life, safety and health here. I have safe place to sleep, food to eat, not have to worry about where my food will come from. I love my sponsors and the letters and photos I receive. They make me smile and my life is much happier.”
Aster has two sisters, one older and one younger. They used to live with their grandmother, but she passed away and they were forced to live on their own. Her prayers were answered in March 2014 when her younger sister, Immuti, came to live at New Hope.
Aster lives in Ambo with other older kids from New Hope. She is in her 3rd year of college in Computer Science. She tells us her nickname is Betty, and her favorite thing to do is watch movies with friends. Some day she would like to open a Wi-Fi internet café. “I would like for you to pray for me that I will not be any trouble for anyone. I want to do well in my schooling and finish so I can have a changed life. I can make a living if I can do well in school. I enjoy school and study hard to get good grades. I would like you to pray for the orphanage to grow so it can take in more children and make their lives happy like it has for me. I am known as the girl who is always laughing and I love to do the braiding for all the girls’ hair. Thank you for sponsoring me. God bless you!”
Tomorrow Come Foundation
Founded: 2012
U.S. Federal EIN: 45-5474286
Officially founded in July 2012, Tomorrow Come Foundation is a nonprofit (501(c)(3)) organization specifically created to provide a safe home, to support a healthy life, and to foster growth through education for the children in and around New Hope Center for Children and Handicapped in Guder, Ethiopia. We believe that everything starts with education, and that this is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. This education is not only school-related, but also includes learning skills like farming, sewing, cooking, building, and any other skills that will help the children be successful in life. By educating them in this way, Tomorrow Come Foundation hopes to empower the children to be productive citizens and future leaders of their community, country, and world.
