Damitu Ayansa has been waiting 1147 days for a sponsor.
I am 19. My name is Damitu and I am in grade 12. I will take the national exam in May to determine where I will go to school. New Hope has given me life. I have a much better life here than before, very good. I have sponsors helping me with their love. I come to know God here and that has changed everything for me because I know his love. I have opportunity to go to school at New Hope. I never had that before I come here. All the workers at the school and at the dormitory are good role models for me. They show me good way to live and to treat others.
The sponsors provide for all of this and I am very happy for them. I always rely on them and their prayers for me. I love the letters they send and the photos of them. I love to pray for my sponsors giving thanks for them.
I love sports and play soccer. I am a goal keeper. I also like to play basketball. I love to help the younger children with their homework so they will be well prepared for their classes. I love helping take care when we get new children. They are very little and they need our help. I have been helping read their sponsors letters and helping them write back.
Please pray for my schooling because I want to be an engineer, and you have to do very well in school to continue on and be successful. I want to help other orphans if I am successful. Thank you for being my sponsor.
Tomorrow Come Foundation
U.S. Federal EIN: 45-5474286
Officially founded in July 2012, Tomorrow Come Foundation is a nonprofit (501(c)(3)) organization specifically created to provide a safe home, to support a healthy life, and to foster growth through education for the children in and around New Hope Center for Children and Handicapped in Guder, Ethiopia. We believe that everything starts with education, and that this is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. This education is not only school-related, but also includes learning skills like farming, sewing, cooking, building, and any other skills that will help the children be successful in life. By educating them in this way, Tomorrow Come Foundation hopes to empower the children to be productive citizens and future leaders of their community, country, and world.
